Deck the Halls

Come out to the mall to see this fantastic and fabulous collection of used ornaments for sale. There is sure to be something that you will want to take home with you for the Christmas season.

Grandmothers and Others for Change is a group of local women who work on behalf of the Stephen Lewis Foundation and its Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign.

All proceeds go to the Stephen Lewis Foundation to help grandmothers in Africa who have been left to care for the children whose parents have died of AIDS, providing much needed support such as food, housing grants, school fees for their grandchildren and grief counseling.

Please pass on information about this wonderful opportunity to collect some very lovely Christmas Decor to anyone who is still at the "gathering goods" stage of life  -

* perhaps young people who are just beginning their collection,

* or those new to our country who want to decorate their new homes,

* or those with young children.... many exciting Santas, Snowmen, stuffed ornaments, etc that youngsters will love,

* and other "Grannies" who still get excited about decorating our homes for the holidays or want to find something special for their grandchildren.

Items are not priced... all they ask for is a donation to the SLF Grandmothers Campaign to help African Grandmothers.

There is no limit to what can be selected.

There is also a raffle for a Christmas fruit cake baked by Phoebe Bunnell and a fully decorated Christmas tree donated by Cathi Kennedy.
